The sunrise this morning was shrouded by clouds. This photo is right before sunrise and it is looking across our Sacred Salt Pond Pans to the East.
I then went to my favorite spot out on the point beyond Burns Field and the Port Allen Airport to capture a wave and a bit more color after the sun rose completely.
There are
thick clouds once again on the horizon, but this is winter and our rainy
season. I am so thankful for the rain on our tiny island out in the
middle of the Pacific Ocean! Thankful for calm seas and gentle breezes.
