 This morning, after my morning sunrise prayers,  I sat watching this flock of pigeons, jumping up in the strong winds and flying almost in place, suspended in air, flapping away and not moving forward.  And then all at once they landed.  Almost immediately one pigeon would jump into the wind and the rest of the flock followed.  Again flapping away and not moving forward..suspended just about were they jumped into the wind.

I wondered why did they not just stay on the ground.  Why jump up and do this over and over and not really fly about and around. Might the wind be too strong for them?   Perhaps this is the morning exercise for fitness that pigeons do to stay fit and in sinc with one another to remain in a flock.  To travel in the flock.

Just after having these thoughts ,all the pigeons flew, together, straight  into the strong wind , across the ocean and toward the rising sun!

Whew I finally got back here after having yet another major computer crash.   It has been a week since I was last here and lots of frustration with the computer but hey once again I fixed things all by myself.  I pleased to announce that a friend has made me a wonderful offer to become an owner of an Apple/ Mac very soon.  No more Windows crashing for me soon! 

 

An advantage to living on a small island in the middle of the sea is that there are limited computer techs and I have been made into one somewhat by default.  Gives a sense of independence I hadn't realized I would enjoy..but I am so looking forward to being up and running with my up-cycled Mac.

Today is New Moon in Aquarius!

I watched two Humpback whales courting one another just off the shore.  spent an hour observing them gliding side by side.  up the coast and then they would shallow dive and swim on the surface the other direction.  They remained in a close area not swimming to far either direction.  As I watched I tried to imagine what lies beyond the surface of the sea.  Then my thoughts went to a place of ancient peoples of these islands and how all they knew was this vast sea around them...this blanket of unknown depth with miles of mystery.  And then I felt very very miniscule

Are you of the thoughts that are mostly positive?  Or are you the type of person to think a negative first?  Me? Well I try with all my might to be positive.  Some days and situations are more of a challenge.  To be a positive force in a negative, fear-based consciousness can be very challenging...and lonely.  

 

Ha, but lonely is a positive thing here as it gives opportunity to build upon the preparation to receive.  Each and every morning ke akua, gives me a new day,  I am grateful and practice a communication of worth and knowing in asking for support to help heal, guide, let my loved ones know love pure and simply. It is also a time to accept that which will not change and prepare to receive.  I give thanks for the surprises and prayers answered before they arrive.  

 

May we all be blessed this day with rays of sunshine shooting through the clouds.

Feb 2...33rd sunrise

Numile point has corn fields on it now.  I suspect they are growing GMO corn there.  Use to be could NOT grow there as it was a strip of conservation land.  What is going on with our precious island?  Newest land grabbers are the chemical companies that make poisons and who knows what all.  We must stand up and stop this insanity! On this island and all the other islands here in Hawaii. 

 

 This is only two blocks from my home.  This is a new field of corn right next to the Solar Farm that just went in about 6 months ago.  The other side is coffee crops ..commercial coffee sent all over the world to folks for consumption.  IF this is GMO with thedaily spraying of poisons on the corn then why is this necessary?  I thought these crops were genetically altered to resists pests?  What are they REALLY spraying here???
